Snow 2023-2024
Fluctuation latent in replication and repetition
This printmaking and movie work, which likens snow to cells and hand-spun cotton to DNA replication, is based on the concept of own parenting and the Breast Cancer experience. In this work, I want to capture the fluctuation (imperfection) latent in replication.

複製と反復に潜むゆらぎ
本作は螺旋状に紡いだ綿糸を版として支持体の紙に空摺りし、くわえて無垢の版木に降り積もった雪をバレンで摺っている版画工程を記録した動画作品である。手紡ぎ綿糸をDNA複製に見立て、雪を細胞に見立てており、私が近年に経験した妊娠、育児、乳癌の体験からコンセプトを得ている。複製に潜む揺らぎ（不完全性）を写し採りたい。
